We called into a little cafe in Kilmore on our way home from Echuca today. Imagine our surprise when we went to the toilet and found not one but two toilets in the same room. Just in case you want to piddle with a friend!!

'Had' to go out for breakfast during our stay in Echuca and I just 'had' to order these 'delicious' berries to satisfy my fruit craving. Yummm!

How come a 'shadow' is the only way I ever get to be tall and slim?

Getting 'ready' to attend a wedding might include painting the toe nails? Two more sleeps Carly and Happy!! ♥

#16..."TWO THINGS"..........

A dog and his bear! Snoop's teddy bear is his favourite thing in the whole world. It is the only toy he cares about and my three year old niece has already worked that out. She teases him mercilessly bu holding it out of his reach or jamming it under the couch or running away with it because she knows he will pursue her for it! So, he quite often snuggles up to it to keep it safe. Very cute and very funny!

Watching "Spicks and Specks" is just an ordinary part of our day!

#14..."SOMETHING YELLOW"..........

One of my favourite songs is "Yellow" by Coldplay. This could have something to do with the fact that Jake loved listening to Coldplay! But they are very good.

#13..."CIRCLE"..........

This circle belongs to John's Ovation guitar which I bought him before we were married. Still looks and sounds pretty good!

#12..."SURPRISE"..........

Our kids used to love these and got very excited at the prospect of getting a 'surprise' from inside the chocolate. In fact, I wouldn't be 'surprised' if someone secretly still enjoyed them ;)

#11..."WATER"..........

Our 'water' feature now has a little fisherman sitting on it's bank enjoying the waterfall and listening to the pleasant sound of running water. He has even caught his dinner.

#10..."1 O'CLOCK"..........

 At '1 o'clock' today I was busy cleaning out this room. It now resembles a study instead of a pigsty!

#9..."PAPER".........

.I used to spend hours creating scrapbooking pages with lots of different 'papers' and embellishments to display my photographs. These days my scrapbooking is all digital. These are some of my older pages. Both methods are enjoyable but the digital version is less time-consuming.

#8..."SOMETHING BEGINNING WITH 'T'".........

.John's relatively new 'tattoo' has the first initial of each of our four children...Toby, Nick, Sian and Jake! Apparently he is now 10% tougher! ♥

#7..."STREET"

#7..."STREET"..........The best part about living in this 'street' is that it is currently a No Through Road. I hope it stays that way!! It is lovely having paddocks and cows and trees, etc as our neighbours.

 

 

#6..."MINE"

#6..."MINE"..........I may not have my beautiful boy to hug, to hold or to laugh with any more but the memories contained within my mind are "mine" until such time as I reach the age of dementia. And then I have my back-up plan...the memories written in this book come from many sources but they have now become "mine" and are very precious!

#5..."MOVEMENT"

#5..."MOVEMENT"..........Had a fun evening at Tokyo Teppanyaki with John, Sian, Rick, Jo and Amber. Poor Sian did not feel at all well today but she got picked on by our chef. Her 'movements' proved quite quick when catching bowls of rice though and, thankfully, the bowl she missed was an empty one. I bet the strangers at the table beside her were pleased about that!

#4..."THE VIEW FROM HERE"

#4..."THE VIEW FROM HERE"..........The heat is almost unbearable today! It's still 40 degrees C and it's 5:30pm. But "the view from here" is our little pool right outside the door. It's been a welcome relief from these hot, dry conditions. And yes, I have been in already! I thought I'd be 'brave' and expose the bathing body before my large family arrives tonight for my brother's birthday. It was cool and VERY relaxing!

#3..."HEART"

#3..."HEART"..........My children are always in my heart but these gifts were given to me to symbolise that love. The gold heart was given to me after our twins, Toby and Nicholas, passed away 24 years ago this month. The silver heart was a gift from our good friends, the Baileys, after our third son, Jake passed away in 2011. It now houses photos of Jake and his precious sister, Sian. I love my children so much ♥

#2... "SOMETHING NEW"

#2.."SOMETHING NEW"..........My family gave me a gift voucher for a local jewellery store for my birthday back in July. Recently, I finally decided on a new watch. i now have 'something new' to wear. But it will not mean that I am getting rid of the watch given to me by Sian and Jake several years ago! Some things are just worth holding on to even if its just for sentimental value! xxx
